SIGs

The SAUG Special Interest Groups (SIGs) provide you with the opportunity to connect with other members who share a common interest, such as a specific industry, business process, or technology or to meet with members in a common location.

The largest networked community of SAP professionals in Australia, our SIGs allow you to increase your knowledge in a specialised area, such as the software application itself, technical infrastructure, implementation, further development and/or maintenance.

Each SIG holds a number of events and meetings throughout the year, designed to increase the learning and networking opportunities for their members.

In addition, a core function of the SIGs is to facilitate communication between its members and SAP. Ideas and feedback on SAP product development are encouraged during meetings and, once validated, are progressed in partnership with an SAP liaison.

If you are interested in joining a SIG, please contact the main Group Lead or email sigs@saug.com.au.

If you would like to create a new SIG, please review the SIG position descriptions for an overview of associated responsibilities, available here.

How do I become a member of a SIG?

Joining a SIG is simple.  Ensure you are logged in.  Go to our home page, click on Edit Profile and follow the prompts.  One of the questions asked will be which SIGs you are interested in.  Select more than one SIG by holding down the CNTRL key.   You will now be included in all correspondence for those groups selected.
